Q. How big are you?A. We do subscribe to the principle of 'small is beautiful'. We want to enjoy our work without the worry of costly overheads and feeding lots of mouths and the inevitable consequences when times are leaner. Our talented and flexible staff are able to look after the majority of our clients' needs but we can rely on proven back-up support from other professionals when we need it.

Q. Are you too small to handle big, complex projects?A. We are more than capable of handling the big projects, it's just that we don't have as many big projects as bigger consultancies at any one time. We believe we offer all the reliability and production capability of a big agency with the personal touch of a small one.

Q. Can you deliver an integrated service?A. Most certainly. The clients who get most out of Gosling are those who use the sum of our parts. Few agencies punch as high above their weight as we do and our surprising range of in-house skills, coupled with extensive production knowledge, means we deliver consistent brand messaging across everything we do.

Q. Do you have account managers?A. We have dedicated account managers who work with clients who prefer to have a single point of contact. Some clients prefer to work closely with a designer and when this is the case the project management is kept in the background.

Q. Do you have copywriters?A. Yes we do, we have in-house writing and proof reading, which many of our clients appreciate. We think words are as important as pictures.

Q. Have you experience of working in other languages?A. We have clients for whom we are their below the line European agency so we are used to managing and producing brochures in numerous languages.

Q. Are you expensive?A. We're neither the most expensive or the cheapest. Our clients don't have to pay London prices for great design and service and we have different charge-out rates depending upon the strategic input and complexity of the project.

Q. Do you do free creative pitching?A. Not for new business prospects. We don't expect our paying clients to cover the cost of our working for free for prospective clients. However, we are happy to prepare proposals for potential new clients in which we will outline our approach and an idea of budget.

Q. How flexible are you?A. We're very bendy. We fit our processes around our clients, not the other way round. We're happy to work on one-off projects or long-term programmes, both will receive the same level of attention.

Q. Can you back up what you say?A. We must be doing something right as we have been successfully in business since 1991. Many of our clients have been with us for several years.

Q. What's your USP?A. We think it's big agency services for small agency fees and we offer big picture thinking with attention to detail.
